Activities against antipathy for your consideration...

As of yesterday (Friday, June 26th 2026,) my new duo CD with Yoona Kim, Distractions for Trumpet & Ajaeng, is officially out. It's a series of, er... distractions for trumpet and ajaeng, recorded in a studio last summer, mixed and mastered by Bhob Rainey for maximum clarity of distraction. We'll be playing a duo set at The Stone in NYC to celebrate.

And as of Friday, May 1st, 2026, a new LP was released by my Seattle compatriots Hound Dog Taylor's Hand with fellow Medford MA resident & MIT synth wizard Joe Paradiso,
The Structure And Dynamics Of Disordered Systems. Joe laid down a formidable foundation over which Hound Dogs Jeffery, John & Mark built a fairly sprawling epic to which I contributed some trumpet in the center section. If you’re in Seattle in the next month, pick up a copy from the great Wall of Sound Records before they close up shop at the end of July. They (and places like them and what they represent) will be missed.

Wally Shoup/Greg Kelley/Tom Scully/Casey Adams: None of This Is Implausible cassette [Obscure & Terrible] This recording, made in early 2020, before the pandemic struck, before I moved across the country, is coming out on 4/17/23!

Lori Goldston/Greg Kelley: All Points Leaning In LP [Broken Clover Records] This duo recording, recorded by the great Steve Fisk, was released on 1/19/23.

Climax Golden Twins: Climax Golden Twins 2LP [Fire Breathing Turtle] I was honored to be a part of the first Climax Golden Twins release in many, many years. This was released on 12/16/22 and I’m on 3 tracks.

Lori Goldston: High and Low LP [Sofaburn] In addition to our duo LP, I was happy to be on a track of this solo LP of Lori’s alongside drummer Dave Abramson. Released 10/7/22.
